Home School Choir Successful in Competition!

The Christian Choral Society of Austin, a music education organization that was founded primarily for home school families, has been successful again this year in competition with the Texas Private School Music Educators Association. Four of its teen choirs competed in areas of both concert selections and sight singing and were victorious in their efforts:

Treble Choir (middle school young women) – SWEEPSTAKES AWARD
Men’s Choir (middle school young men) – SWEEPSTAKES AWARD
Concert Choir (high school) – SUPERIOR AWARD
Master’s Singers (high school small ensemble – jazz vocals) – SUPERIOR AWARD

Congratulations to these students who exude the cause of Christ in all of their efforts and shine with their excellent talent to the glory of God. Their ministry is a blessing to all who hear. Congratulations to their proud director, Kathryn Hargis!
