Tim Tebow Bill and Parental Rights Legislation Filed

Nathan Exley

Last week we worked with Representative Dutton, Jr. (D-Houston) to file the House version of the Tim Tebow bill: H.B. 1374.

This week, Senator Paxton (R-McKinney) filed the Senate Version: S.B. 929.

Also this week Senator Campbell (R-New Braunfels) and Representative Burkett (R-Sunnyvale) filed the Texas Parental Rights Restoration Act, S.B. 1194 and H.B. 2547. This act would close a loophole in the family law statutes which enables lawsuit abuse by vindictive relatives against single parent families.
