Home School Graduate Turned Away, Told to get GED

A______ applied for, interviewed with, and was offered a job at Arlington ISD. Excited to begin a new career, she headed to orientation only to be turned away because personnel staff could not verify her high school diploma. Even after being told A_____ was home schooled, AISD insisted she needed a GED. At this point A_____ turned to THSC for help. President Tim Lambert wrote a letter to AISD.
