Who wins our vote
THSC is proud to announce its support and endorsement of Jim Landtroop for Texas House District 84 in the Lubbock area. Landtroop and his wife Cathy, married for 22 years and parents to four children, seek your support this election year. With vast experience in small business economics from many years building his family businesses from the ground up, Jim Landtroop proves himself as a worthy candidate for Texas families. Jim is a successful State Farm Agent and Cathy developed Landtroop Strategies, which has become a well-known consulting firm based out of Lubbock.
Who needs to get voted out
Texas House District 84 is currently represented by Rep. John Frullo; however, many, including Rep. Jonathan Stickland, are beginning to doubt the conservative message Frullo pushed during his campaign. “Frullo voted for every single crony capitalist and anti-free market measure that came up onto the Texas House,” Representative Stickland was recently quoted as saying in The Texas Scorecard, a magazine published by Empower Texans. It is disappointingly common that often Republicans are voted into the legislature without being as conservative as their campaign claimed. The same article stated that Representative Stickland went on to talk about “Frullo’s support of Speaker Straus, his vote for SB 19, which targeted conservative advocacy groups and donors (a measure rejected by a majority of House Republicans), along with his support for unconstitutional retroactive handouts to NASCAR, film, and major event incentives.”
What you can do today
Jim Landtroop was elected to represent the people of Texas House District 85 in 2010, and he did an outstanding job fighting for and upholding conservative values in addition to the primary principles of THSC. He hasn’t just told us his values, he has already shown us his values.
He needs your support in order to bring him back:
- Please consider making a donation to Jim’s campaign. Even if only a $5 gift, this will send a message to the establishment that Jim has support in the district.
- Register to vote and make Texas families a powerful voting block.
- Consider supporting THSC today so we can continue to vet candidates for you.
- Tweet and share on social media the need to “get out the vote”!
THSC is excited to see how Jim will adapt to the newly configured House District 84, and we eagerly anticipate watching him fight in the arena, alongside other truly conservative representatives, to continue to help us Keep Texas Families Free.
