Certificate of Appreciation

To show appreciation and to honor support group leaders in the home school community who sacrificially give of their time and energy to serve home schoolers and to promote home education, the Texas Home School Coalition (THSC) has instituted Home School Leader Appreciation Week.

Request certificates of appreciation for your support group leaders to let them know that they are appreciated!  In continuing efforts to encourage those leaders who give so much, THSC will continue to print these attractive documents on behalf of your group and THSC FREE upon request.  In past years, some groups have presented these to their leaders at their support group meetings, and others have held special meetings to recognize these people who sacrifice time and energy for their group.

Show your leaders how much you appreciate them!

Nominate your leader for THSC’s Leader of the Year!

In conjunction with Home School Leader Appreciation Week in Texas, at its annual Awards Banquet, THSC awards the coveted Home School Leader of the Year award to outstanding leaders.  This award is based on testimonies by appreciative members of their groups. The process requires at least three (tip: more letters carry more weight) members of the group to send letters in which they document why their leader(s), either an individual or a couple, should be selected the THSC Home School Leader of the Year.  Only one leader/couple may be nominated per group.

Support a Support Group?

Sheila Campbell encourages homeschooling parents to link arms (and perhaps hearts, too) with others who follow the same calling. Support groups have much to offer, not the least of which is support.
