Isaac Sommers, Lead Policy Liaison, since graduating from home school in 2014, Isaac has attended Howard Payne University, where he is part of the Honors Academy. He is double majoring in public policy and social sciences, with an emphasis on jurisprudence. Isaac plans to attend law school after he graduates. As the lead policy liaison this session, Isaac’s responsibilities include working closely with a number of state senators and representatives; analyzing thousands of pieces of legislation; drafting bills and amendments to bills; writing and coordinating letters to various government officials, requesting policy change; and overseeing THSC’s legislative session policy team.
