Enrich Your Capitol Days Experience

Lone Star Study
Please note the Lone Star Study (formerly known as the Good Citizenship Pack) is a popular addition to the Capitol Day experience. However, it is not a requirement for participation. Perfect for those looking to understand the state government process, this pack takes students of all ages through the three branches of government and the law making process. Students will write their Senator and Representative—and high school-age students will research a piece of legislation. Take advantage of this hands-on enrichment for your home school!

Teen Pact
TeenPact is a dynamic, hands-on leadership school that trains Christian youth to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend their Christian faith and engage the culture at a time in their lives when, typically, teens do not care about such things. At state capitols in 38 states, TeenPact trains young people to embrace their call as the next generation of leaders by giving them tools, teaching, and opportunities. “Changing lives to change the world” is more than a motto to us. It’s literally what we do every day. Come join us at the Texas State Capitol Class in Austin.
