Registrant Understanding

Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds, just as if you had purchased tickets to a concert or a ball game. You may transfer your registration to one other person or family for a $10 fee until July 11, 2014. After July 11, 2014, no registrations may be transferred. If you wish to transfer your registration to another person or family, please call THSC at (806) 744-4441, Ext 0, with the transferee name, phone number, email, and credit card payment information.

Workshops
Workshops are first come, first seated. Some Workshops will fill up, so make sure to plan ahead for the best seating! You may need to arrive 30 minutes before popular workshops. All sessions are professionally recorded and available for purchase on-site and online after the Convention. Audio recording by attendees is not allowed.

Fussy or crying babies/children must be immediately removed from any speaking session or from the Exhibit Hall. If a child is disruptive, the parent is expected to, and may be asked to, leave the Workshop/Exhibit Hall to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone during the Convention.

Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by one of their own parents, and parents assume all responsibility for their children and their behavior.

Children and Preteens
The Children’s Program you know and love has been revamped into Kids Convention!

Due to the popularity of the Kids Convention and Preteen Program, they are expected to sell out and may not be available for registration on-site.

All youth (ages 4 – 18) not attending respective programs must purchase Shopping Only Passes ($15/day each) to shop with their parents OR purchase a General Admission Convention ticket to attend workshops with their parents. A parent must attend children at all times. Registration for all programs will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available as space allows. Registration for Kids Convention, Preteen Programs, Teen Staff Program, and Special Buddies Program will not be available on-site.

Infants and Toddlers
We encourage parents to make other arrangements for toddlers on these two days, if possible; however, infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) may attend free of charge with their parents. A Toddler Play Area will be provided Friday and Saturday. Parents may leave their toddlers, if space is available, for up to 75 minutes.

Special Buddies Program (SBP)
Registrations are not complete until the SBP Form is submitted to THSC. Special Buddies registration will not be available on-site.

Teen Staff Program: Parent’s Understanding
By registering my teen for the Teen Staff Program (TSP), I understand he/she is committing to a two-day program and that his/her presence is required from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 or 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 25-26, 2014.

Nursing Mothers Room
For your convenience and privacy, a Nursing Mothers Room will be located on the Upper Level. Nursing mothers are encouraged to be discreet or to take advantage of the unstaffed Nursing Mothers Room.

Speakers and Exhibitors
Listed speakers and exhibitors are confirmed, but there may be circumstances that prevent a speaker/exhibitor from attending. Schedules may be subject to change.

Strollers
Strollers are not allowed in any of the Workshops. Small, single strollers are permitted in the Exhibit Hall. Doublewide and side-by-side strollers are prohibited due to space constraints. If you feel you have a special circumstance that requires this type of stroller, you may email convention@thsc.org to explain your situation and to request a special exception.

Volunteers
THSC works hard to make the Convention affordable. We do not want anyone to be unable to attend the Convention due to financial hardship. Volunteer opportunities are available in exchange for free general admission to the Convention. Find out how to volunteer at the Convention.

Photographs/Videos
By submitting my registration, I understand that photographs/videos of the Convention and its attendees will be taken and that photographs/videos of me and/or my family may be used for publicity, advertising, and promotional purposes.

Literature Distribution
Attendees may not distribute literature of any kind to anyone. This privilege is reserved for Exhibitors and Advertisers only and is restricted to the Exhibit Hall area.

THSC, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to require anyone deemed disruptive to leave the premises immediately.
