State Leadership Conference

The THSC State Leadership Conference is designed for the instruction and encouragement of local home school group leaders so that they, in turn, can build a stronger home school community.

Join us at beautiful Camp Copass in Denton on October 18-20, 2013, for a weekend of instruction and encouragement with Joe and Zan Tyler of Apologia Ministries. The deadline for registration was Friday, October 11.

Keynote Speakers: Joe and Zan Tyler

Joe and Zan Tyler’s home school journey began more than 25 years ago, in South Carolina, when they decided to begin home schooling their children. After their initial application to home school was denied and the South Carolina state superintendent threatened Zan with jail, the Tyler family began fighting for the rights of South Carolina home schoolers in the state legislature, in the judicial system, and in the court of public opinion.

Joe and Zan play key roles in Apologia Ministries–Joe as the project manager for Apologia Educational Ministries, and Zan as the director of Apologia Press. Zan currently speaks to and encourages home schooling parents across the country and around the globe. She is also a popular online columnist and the author of several books on home schooling.
