"What
I Have Learned About Home Schooling"
Often parents look at home
schooling as a temporary pursuit rather than a lifestyle. In
her article about lessons she learned that changed her
vision of home schooling, Lydia Eubank tells some of the
things she learned that changed her from the former kind of
parent to the latter.

Yes You Can!"
Even when things do not always
go the way you would like ...
What Home Schooling Has
Taught Me
Home
schooling is not always only a matter of what we teach our
children. Parents often learn many things as well—about
themselves, their families, priorities, and the
subjects they teach.
If Animals Went to School

Getting Involved
Public
Relations: Be Ready To Answer
Home
schoolers often find themselves the objects of criticism. It
is good public relations for us to have a reasoned response
with which to state the case for parental choice in
directing the education of our children.

Patrick Henry College Scholarship

Good
Citizenship Program
Texas students at home must use
a curriculum from any source that covered the “basic
educational goals of reading, spelling, grammar, math and a
course in good citizenship.” Rather than simply citing
dry statistics and flow charts, parents can help their
children learn through a hands-on method by taking part in
actual governmental processes.
