What? Daydream? I Have Planning To Do!
by Sue Ellen Haning
"... Planning to teach my own children took a very
different path from the old lesson plans. My planning
consisted of: tossing ideas around in my head, jotting
down the more popular ones, and daydreaming,
daydreaming, daydreaming. It was not until my home
school experience that I realized the value of
daydreaming. Somewhere along the path of my
upbringing, I came to believe that daydreaming was a
waste of time. It is not. I highly recommend doing it on
a regular basis. Of course a certain amount of
discipline must be exercised concerning this
immensely profitable endeavor. I am convinced the
more daydreaming one engages in, the more creative,
constructive, and even productive he is. I wish I had
daydreamed more in my youth."

Home Schooling Proves Its Merit with Scholarships

"...National Merit Scholars are often the product of our
state's most elite private and public high schools. But
as I stopped by the school of one winner, John Molitor
of White Bear Lake, I saw no gleaming laboratories or
cutting-edge computer labs. John's teacher opened
the door. She's also the school's principal, lunch lady
and head janitor. She's Joyce Molitor, John's mother."

Letter to Magnolia ISD

Magnolia ISD required unnecessary paperwork from a
member parent before withdrawing her child from its
rolls. Tim Lambert informed the district's
representative of the correct procedure and advised
the district to withdraw both its request and the
