Action Alert to Restore Parental Rights
The Jurisprudence Committee of the Texas Senate will meet at the Hilton University of Houston this Friday, May 23rd, at 10 a.m. to receive testimony on the Interim Charge:
Study the laws governing suits affecting the parent-child relationship involving non-parents,
including suits for possession of or access to a child by a grandparent, and make
recommendations for providing the best care and protection for the children involved.
Provide an assessment of the constitutional issues involved with these suits.
Testimony will be open to the public, and we strongly encourage you to attend. You may be assured that the lawyers who prey on families in these types of cases will be out in force, attempting to protect this nest egg of litigation.
