Facilities

Lakeview Camp and Conference Center

Opened in the summer of 1997, Lakeview Camp is one of the newest and finest facilities around for conferences and retreats. The camp is built on 300 acres of wooded, rolling hills just 45 minutes south of downtown Dallas and seven miles southwest of Waxahachie. It is complete with comfortable meeting rooms and a large dining hall. 

For the young and young at heart, there is a recreational facility complete with basketball courts, volleyball courts, a rock climbing wall, and more. Additionally, there are sand volleyball courts, a playing field perfect for ultimate Frisbee, Horseshoes, etc!

Lodging

On-site Hotel rooms feature 2 queen-size beds, linens, telephone with voice mail, AM/FM alarm clock radio, private bath with tub/shower, individually controlled air conditioning and heat, and high-speed Internet access.

On-site Cabin lodging is a dorm-style room with bunk beds and shared bath- rooms. Guests should bring linens such as sheets, towels, and blankets or may order a linen package for $5/person.

Attire

Casual, modest clothing is the order of the day. Warm clothes and a jacket may be needed for the cool nights. Bring appropriate clothes for sports, walking, etc., if desired. Teens should bring sturdy, comfortable shoes for the teen activities.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships for On-site Cabin (dorm-style) Lodging and registration are available for adult leaders. This includes two nights’ lodging, all meals, facility, and registration fees. Each scholarship recipient will be responsible for the $5/person fee for Linens or to bring their own sheets/blankets/pillow and towels. To request a scholarship, include a written request with your registration form.
