Denise McNamara on Dobson and Thompson
The comments made by Dr. Dobson to the U.S. News and World Report regarding possible presidential candidate Fred Thompson were inappropriate. (Read article here.) James Dobson’s Sin
I have always thought Pope Gregory the Great’s list of Seven Deadly sins was one short. He left off my nominee for number one: hypocrisy. Clearly, this puts me at odds with Dr. Jim Dobson, evangelical leader and founder of Focus on the Family.

  • A Different Kind of Terror
One of our society’s greatest strengths—its openness—has also been one of its glaring weaknesses. The al-Quaeda terrorists who struck on 9/11 took advantage of this openness, with devastating effects. Nearly six years later, another group of Islamic activists is trying to turn our open courts to their advantage.

    by Gary Bauer
This has been anything but a “quiet week” on the foreign policy scene. Shaken by Iran’s seizure of British sailors and taken back by the unusually harsh rhetoric coming out of Saudi Arabia, western diplomats are scurrying to parse the statements, hoping to read between the lines what is very likely not there.
