Pam Tebow, the mother of successful college football and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, is a homeschool pioneer along with her husband Bob. They began teaching their children at home in 1982 before the term “homeschool” was coined. All five of their children were homeschooled from kindergarten through high school, and each one received college scholarships.
The Tebows lived for a number of years as missionaries in the Philippines, where Bob continues to have an ongoing ministry, the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association.
Pam loves speaking to families across the country. Her notoriety increased when Tim Tebow won the Heisman Trophy, and because ESPN aired comments from Pam about refusing to abort “Timmy” in the womb, she has been given a national platform to encourage a pro-life message.
Pam is passionate about encouraging women to trust the Lord and use the incredible influence God has given them to eternally impact their world. Additionally, THSC is proud to support the Tim Tebow bill in Texas that would allow homeschoolers access to extracurricular activities offered at local schools. The Tim Tebow bill was named in honor of Tim Tebow, who was a homeschooled student as well as a former professional American football quarterback and baseball outfielder.
