Virtual THSC Loyalty Groups

Meet Amber McGuire, one of THSC’s Homeschool Mentors!

Virtual THSC Loyalty Groups serve home schooling families by connecting them with each other, through an online community that does not necessarily offer group sponsored meetings. Some virtual groups might enable parents to connect locally with each other.

  • A virtual group is an internet-based support group for homeschoolers.
  • They are run by an individual or group that is designed specifically for homeschool families.
  • The group is typically established to benefit other homeschoolers utilizing a particular curriculum, resource, method of teaching, philosophy or some other commonality.
  • Virtual group might serve in a specific city, area, or region, however, some virtual groups serve very large regions (such as all of north Texas, or all of the coastal region), or they might even serve the entire state, or even serve any homeschooler regardless of what state they live in.
