This year has been a year of abundant joy, but it has not been free of its share of struggles.

Leaders are often faced with personal trials that they do not share outside of their closest inner circle. This can leave them feeling overwhelmed as they listen to complaints and criticism from others. Many are unaware of how leaders take these words to heart as they strive to continually improve the groups they serve.

This year I met many of my goals, but there are still those unmet goals that require so much of my energy. I thought about what I’ve accomplished this year and what I look forward to next year, and my heart was hungry as I heard a poignant message:

What am I doing to prepare my children and my group for tomorrow if I do not know what tomorrow holds for me?

This very moment as I write to you, I am praying that group leaders are able to glean what they need from THSC. I have heard of many challenges this year, and THSC is helping groups reinforce and strengthen to carry on long past the current leadership team. Each of us wants to implement policies that will ensure our groups thrive even after we graduate our own children.

When we want to avoid feeling derailed in educating our own children and in supporting the educational pursuits of our member families, we can cling to the promises of our loving Father.

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. Psalm 127:3-5

Leaders face trials. You can trust THSC with questions to help develop a plan that will fortify your group and send out your children as arrows, making sure a future that we cannot otherwise know.

As leaders, our quivers are full. The future may be unsure, but we can equip our children to face their opponents and to triumph over adversity.

How we can help you:

  • We want to hear from you. THSC listens to you to continue to meet the needs of THSC Loyalty Groups and their member families. Together, we can create a stronghold that fortifies families and builds a strong future for tomorrow’s home schoolers!
  • I hope by now you have checked out the benefits available to THSC Loyalty Groups. What are the issues you face in group leadership?
